    The Dirt Devil Stick Vacuum is good if you are on a budget. October 12, 2010

    Recently I moved into my own place and needed a vacuum. I didn't want to buy some $300+ vacuum, so I decided to pick something cheap at first and see how I liked it. Luckily this vacuum cost next to nothing and I am also lucky that I do in fact like it.

    It is very small and not a bother to store it. You can easily stash it somewhere out of sight. And it works pretty well on hardwood surfaces or a kitchen floor.

    It doesn't work too well on carpet. It does work, it just requires going back over it, so vacuuming can take a while, whereas a better vacuum could get the job done quicker.

    I haven't had any problems with this one though, and I know that if I do in the future, I'm replacing it with another Dirt Devil Stick.

    ok item for ok price September 20, 2010

    Bought this when we moved to a new apartment 4 mnths back from kmart.Looks good and light weight doesnt occupy much space.but dont expect more from this vacuum.it works its part for the small jobs not thorough cleaning.i clean the kids mess ups with this and it tries to take small pieces ...but not all of them/not a full size vacuum

    I bought this after seeing several reviews that this was good on carpets as well as the hard floors. It is great on my tile floors and picking up dog hair which there always seems to be no matter how much I clean. I don't know what carpets you can use this on but they are definitely not mine. It stores nicely and would be great for small spaces. It picks up great and I love that you just empty the cup.

    Its is a good decent vacuum for a small apartment for its price, but at times i have to keep going over the carpet multiple times.

    I love this little vacuum for what it does. I use it primarily to vacuum dog hair, crumbs, etc. It never jams and is easy to clean. Great for vacuuming stairs because it is so light-weight. If you need power, this is not for you. My three-year-old grandson loves it so much that he is getting one for his birthday; he likes to watch it pick up the dirt and then watch the dirt go round and round in the receptacle.
