Curtis  Compact DVD Player- DVD1041

I have just used it once, but it was very easy to hook up and operate. The longest time involved untwisting the twist ties from the cords. Very compact package, light weight. Affordable!

Purchased this DVD player on black Friday for my sons room and was pleased to get it for $9.99. Unfortunately, it does not play many DVDs. Those it does play skip and get stuck constantly and those same DVDs play fine on my other DVD player. I talked to someone at Sears about the issue and was told it was only warrantied for 30 days. I definitely suggest spending a little more on a quality product. At the price I paid it's not such a loss, but a product should work reasonably no matter how little you paid for it.

This dvd player isn't too bad. It does its job without any issues from my experience. The reason why I only gave it 3 stars was because of a couple of things: the remote that came with the dvd player feels a little too cheaply made, and also the dvd tray is a little flimsy--if you're not careful, you can easily damage it. All in all, if you take care of the player, it's a decent buy (and one I'm happy with).

Its a good player.

Its been almost a year it worked fine at first but now it makes noises when turned and it has problems reading and recognizing pushed button gotta replace soon.

Received this as an unexpected gift from a family member right as I happened to be looking for one. Definately more trouble than it is worth. Worked fine for the first 2 days and then it started to skip. Almost every movie played will skip at some point and then it skips at that same spot each time you watch it after that. Having a three year old we watch the same movies quite often. Then it started to freeze. Once it freezes you can't even turn the machine off, we have to climb behind the TV and unplug it. We have a pile started of movies it will no longer play because it always freezes before they will start playing. I have never had such a poor DVD player and I have purchased ones much cheaper than this. For a little more I found a name brand Blu-ray/DVD combo.

I bought this for my Dad and he's not very pleased with its performance. He can't get it to rewind and play back the way it should. Maybe his is just defective but I'm disappointed.

bought this because of the cheap price. got what i paid for. it worked great and was easy to hook up and use for the first six months. after that the dvd player would freeze in the middle of a movie so i would have to turn off the dvd player and restart it. it would work again after this but it was annoying. not long after it started freezing more often. i finally had enough and cashed in on the sears purchase protect i bought with the dvd player, well worth the three dollars. after about a week or two sears sent me a gift card for the purchase price of the dvd player, great service.

Just got this dvd player and is great love it.
