Craftsman  Men's Krypt Steel Toe Work Boot Wide Width - Brown

I have already owned 2 pair of the Krypt Steel toed work boots in the past and loved them. They wear and feel very well. So when I saw on line that they were on sale (buy one get one 50% off) I thought I would stock up. The boots I shipped to me were not the same ones I had purchased in the past and are not the ones pictured on the web site. They have totally different eyelets and no speed hooks on the top. Completely dissatisfied with them and will probably have to return them.

This seems to be a well constructed boot. I'm still breaking these boots in and there is an issue with ankle area where the rivets meet the tongue rubbing my ankle, but will probably get better after wearing in.

These are probably the best work boots I have ever had! They are really tough- I've had mine for over a year, wearing them five days a week. The leather holds up very well- I wear them in the snow, rain, etc.- it doesn't faze them. I bought a pair of R** W*** boots that were over $150 that weren't nearly as good as these. These are so comfortable, you forget they have steel toes!

I am a welder, as such I am on my feet many hours of the day standing or squatting in various positions while working. These boots have been great, very little treadwear, quality leather and stitching. I picked up a pair of Smart Sense men's work gel inserts at kmart a couple of weeks after buying the boots for extra cushioning, although these boots didn't necessarily need them, I prefer the added comfort. Thanks Craftsman and Kmart for another quality item at a great price.

i work 6 days a week at an animal hospital thought these would be over kill and last me years..well 2 months later the sole is already separating and the only way i can wear them is by only tying to the top set of hoops if i do the bottom ones i come home with terrible blisters even with 2 pairs of socks on i would not recommend them for the fact of being uncomfortable and broke down quickly even though i am inside all day. i wish i could take them back but i threw out the box and receipt thinking i wouldn't need it. i was wrong

I really liked the look of these boots. Problem is they don't fit correctly. Even for a wide size, your toes feel crowded in these and your pinky toes will get worn to blisters. I only kept mine for a couple weeks and couldn't wear these any more. The leather on the toe by the first laces buckled up funny on both boots. After 2 weeks the leather showed quite a bit of wear also. I wanted to like these, but I had to return them. Kmart's return people were very helpful.

I have bought this style and brand of boot for a long time, (many years). I am on my feet over 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. I've purchased other steel toed boots of good quality and name brand that did not last as long as these. Some of the other name brand boots lasted only a couple of months. I purchased the first pair of Craftsman boots over a year ago and are still going strong. The other great feature of this boot is the cost. Over half the cost of other name brand boots. I dont shop for boots at any other place but Kmart. Thanks Kmart for still having something of quality. Terry

I AM ON MY FEET MOVING FAST INDOORS 12 HOURS A NIGHT SO I ADDED THESE TO THE STEEL TOE BOOT COLLECTION. I USED TO WEAR TEXAS STEEL FOR DECADES BUT THE QUALITY DROPPED DO I HAVE CATERPILLAR WHICH ARE VERY NICE AND TIMBERLAND PROS WHICH ARE ALSO VERY NICE. THESE DONT LOOK AS GOOD AS THE OTHER BOOTS BUT WERE HALF THE PRICE. I BELIEVE THEY MAY BE MADE OF PIG SKIN AND NOT PEBBLED LEATHER BUT THEY ARE WARM AND COMFORTABLE. BEST PART IS THEY DID NOT NEEDED TO BE BROKEN IN AND I WORE THEM OUT OF THE BOX. I SNAP AT ANY WIDE WIDTH STEEL TOE BOOT I CAN FIND AND THESE DO THE JOB.

This is by far the best work boot I have ever owned. I am in the telecommunications industry and go through boots at about every 3 to 5 months on average. This boot is the most comfortable, durable, and longest lasting boot I have had. I have had this pair for 14 months and foresee at least a couple more months of wear. I would reccomend these boots to anyone.

I bought these because they came in a wide width. I have a wide foot and the steel toe on these DON'T rub my little toe like the narrower "D" width shoes did. These are made of a heavier leather than Wally World boots, and should last longer. The insole is comfortable too. I don't have the ankle issues that the other reviewers had either. For the record, I do have a $165 pair of Red Wings in the closet that are so uncomfortable that I can't wear them. With these it's been 4 months, and so far I am very happy with them.
