I got this toolbox on sale for $89.00. I am a new homeowner on a tight budget, and was previously storing my tools in a series of tucker totes..... As you can imagine, this is miles above that. The drawers are a bit flimsy, and the slides are not ball bearing, but it does what it needs to do, store tools and keep them organized. There is a lot of space, drawers are a good size, and its price cant be beat. Perfect for a casual tool user.

Pros; A few of the drawers are deep enough (about 5" height) to hold larger tools like drills or jigsaws. Mamy other tool chests have 2" or 3" drawers. The riser is nice because it allows about a foot of space for large items ontop of the bottom chest and under the top chest. The top compartment is deeper than most tool chests. The drawers function OK. Cons; The casters are small. Only 2 of them swivel and 2 of them are fixed (like most store shopping carts). Would be better if all 4 swivel. The locking mechanism with bars is a little cumbersome, but I don't need to lock it anyway. Assembely is a little bit combersome. Ehen asswmbeled the top chest, riser, and lower chest is all one piece fixed together by sheet metal screws and bolts. Ovearall: I recommend it because ot the deep drawers and mid section riser.

The tool cabinet is very flimsy. It is definitely nothing like what craftsman usually sells. It is good for storage for light weight tools. The drawer slides are not ball bearing.

This tool chest it terrible do not for any reason buy this. I pick it up in store the hold ride home all i can heard is it getting beat up in the trunk of my truck i guest your not suppose to take it home when you buy it so i get home take it out the box to find area dented some parts bent, so after getting out the bents and dents i put it together and minus the dents it looked good but then started to operated it every mechanism just felted, sounded and looked CHEAP i couldn't believe it was build by Craftsman i must say that was very poor craftsmanship and to make matters worst as kmart says this item is not eligible for return. So what am telling you DONT BUY THIS, DONT

This is the best value for an entry cabinet, better than brands at WM, HF, or home centers. Had more storage than I thought, more than carries my 400 piece auto tool set, along with specialty tools. Is best used as a weekend chore cabinet, not sturdy enough for a professional constantly moving around. Weakest point is finish, it is very thin and scratches easily. But this is quickly and cheaply fixed with slip mats from kmart or $ stores. Overall is a great buy even when not on sale.

This tool chest is OK. I bought one that would have been in the same model line some 20+ years ago. The old one is much sturdier, from the metal used in the construction, to the slides used for the drawers. The new one will do the job I need it to do just fine, but I would not have spent more than the $90.00 that I paid for it. Putting it together was a simple task and took little time. If a light-duty chest is all that you need, this one will suffice. But, anything more than that would probably require a better piece of equipment.

I recently purchased this tool center for my husband. He absolutely LOVES it even though only 2 of the wheels rotate...he says it is no big deal since he doesn't plan over moving it around. Tool center has alot of storage and the extra storage area is a real bonus. Also, craftman's logo sticker looks really cool. Would love to buy him another, but they are temporarly not available.

I got this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it, but he just mainly uses it for storage. He's not a mechanic or a big handyman, but it's perfect and the right size to hold his tools. He really like the big cabinet underneath for his drill and bigger tools.
