    this is a nice craftsman circular saw i had it for about two years now and it still run fine the only i had that went wrong with it some times is that the blade cover woulf want to stick but after unpluging it cleaning it real good it hasnt done that anymore

    Pros:
    Just enough power for 1 1/2
    Cons:
    The handle does not fit the hand well.

    Great saw for te money.  You can run a long cord without overheating the motor or the cord.  Light enough for out of position usage.  Has a good depth adjustment system.  I have sawed many 2 x 4's lengthways with no problems.  The saw line markings on the frame are actually pretty accurate.  The design of the tool seemed to direct most of the saw dust away from the operator's face.

     

    I wish this tool had a wrap-around handle for holding it in different positions.

    This saw works great!  I am no carpenter and therefore don't need anything really fancy.  This saw is perfect for my needs.  I haven't had any problems with it since I bought it and don't expect that I will in the future.  I would strongly recommend this to anyone who is in need of a good saw for the purpose of cutting boards to length
