    Safari in Africa Collection Baby Travel System is built great!!! May 02, 2011

    My wife and I just purchased the Cosco Safari in Africa Collection Baby Travel System. And it is better then expected! It was a great price. Its lite, which is great for my wife cause she is only 5'2 107 lbs. she has no problem lifting and assembling it. The stroller is also easy to break down and put away. And the best part about it is its actually built very well. I would recommend it to family and friends.

    Not for use in Trucks!!! March 19, 2011

    I don't have any issues with the stroller. The infant carrier seat however is not for use in trucks. The base will not properly fit into the seat and it causes the seat to sit to far up. Putting a towel underneath does nothing to help the situation. I have tried to find a new base only to find that it is sold online only and even the company doesn't have one in stock!!!

    Pros:
    Easy to attach car seat to stroller,Easy to fold stroller

    This travel system is cute.  The stroller is a little lightweight compared to some other strollers, with smaller wheels. Still, it is great, as long as you are not planning on hiking through rough terrain. You can't beat the price compared to some travel systems.

    Easy to attach car seat to stroller,Easy to fold stroller,Nice design,adorable,Stoller works well,Cheaper to buy as a combo

    I bought this stroller/carseat combo as a baby shower gift for my Son and daughter-in-law, as they welcome a son in January. I have used the Cosco brand for many things in the raising of four children.I like the style and look (design) of the combo, it kind of goes with their Noah's Ark theme.

    Base won't fit into vehicle seat well,No way to adjust base height,Fabric can get hot on baby's leg,Wheels won't roll right on stroller,Babys Head falls forward

    babys head falls forward, wheels on stroller roll wrong and and sits too high.

    I was given this travel system as a gift and didnt think to much of it until I tried to take my newborn home. The seat does sit too upright which I was able to correct with a thickly rolled towel. To get the base where it doesn't move is nearly impossible. I sometimes have more success without the base and using the alternate system of the seatbelt running across the top (depending on the vehicle). The other thing I hate is the buckle system- you have to press the 2 pieces together and hold them together while trying to buckle it in without pinching your baby's thighs. That can be quite a task if you have a baby who doesn't like being put in their seat. I wouldn't get this seat purely for that reason. Also the seat does not fit on a shopping cart securely. They system does work well together and I really don't have any complaints with the stroller yet. but overall it is not worth it!!
