    I want to like these sandals, I really do, but they aren't made for real feet.  My size 12 foot covers the right surface area to be a size 12, but I pull the straps as tight as they go, until the velcro barely has anything to hold to and they're still not tight on my feet.  No I didn't buy a special wide version and my feet are a little thin with high arches, but I'm not to freak proportions.  These sandals actually get torn off on the big water slide because the velcro has so little to hold to the water speed is enough to tear the straps lose.  There were no other non-leather secured over the foot and behind the heel sandals available from any of the local retailers I checked, out of frustration I bought these.

    I don't know if I can recommend them to someone with normal feet.  If you have very wide or freakishly thick feet (vetically thick, not width) I would say these were the best things on the market.  They're otherwise very well constructed.
