Live a busy life with men's activewear
Being active means different things to each person. And depending upon your definition, it will determine what activewear is best for you. From different types of shirts to shorts and pants to jackets, choose from the clothing that will help you reach the top of your game.
Shorts are a great starting point. There are different types of shorts, and as such, different fits. An old favorite is the mesh short. They are breathable and feel light to wear. Mesh shorts are usually made from 100 percent polyester. Rarely do mesh shorts feel restrictive on the legs. Instead, they provide a barely-there feel and offer better air circulation than others. This will contribute to keeping you feel fresher as your activity wears on. Many choose mesh shorts, while others prefer the solid polyester blend shorts. Both styles are great for just about anything. The solid polyester shorts don't breathe as much as the mesh but feel smooth, almost silky, and are also lightweight.
Perhaps that isn't the fit and feel you want. Consider a solid knit short, which often is made of a cotton blend. These shorts are a little heavier and will hold onto moisture more so than their counterparts. This means as you sweat, they can begin to feel like they are carrying some more weight. In fact, what is happening is the short doesn't breathe like mesh, so instead of airing out, they absorb. Most of these shorts will sit just above the knee, but many will go hang lower than the knee. As much as these feel like they can be worn in the water, the materials used are not conducive to salt water or pool chemicals. Instead, find big and tall swimwear that is equipped for those conditions instead of relegating yourself to big and tall sportswear.
For additional support, add compression shorts. These will help eliminate strain and fatigue by keeping muscles warm. These are different than bicycle shorts, which have padding. To keep your legs warmer, consider athletic pants. These range from solid pants to those with buttons and zippers on the legs, similar to breakaway pants that also allow you to alter how the pants fit. Most pants will be made of polyester. An alternative is sweatpants, which can be cotton of fleece.
Athletic shirts have changed in recent years. No longer is a workout shirt necessarily any T-shirt you pull out of your closet. Now there are shirts considered high performance, because they wick away your sweat as you exercise. This may or may not be something that interests you. If they don't, there's no denying the comfort of a good tee. Maybe a muscle shirt is more your style. For the golfers, there are even high-performance polo shirts great for keeping you cool on the links. On the days when the weather is colder, don a sweater, hoodie or jacket. Every activity has its own unique environment, and these men's outerwear can be matched appropriately to have you at your warm best.
