Cannon Ring Spun Bath Towel is affordable, thick and fluffy
I purchased two of these towels along with two wash cloths about three months ago. I've used them about four times and so they've been washed and dryed five times. They do wash and dry very nicely, which is a major plus, as well as the fact that they don't leave behind a lot of fuzzy stuff in the dryer. They are also 100% cotton, which I love! It wicks up the moisture much better than other fabrics or blends. I purchased them in a deep navy blue, so that may be my issue and reason for four stars...but...this color seems to leave this deep navy blue fiber all over my white bathroom. It is not as pronounced when using a venting system as my one bathroom has, but if you dont' use that...like we usually don't in the winter...the fiber sticks to even the walls, and it is clearly visible. Upon wiping off, you see the blue fibers very clearly. Also, like another reviewer, I thought they were made in the US, but they are indeed made in India. I had no idea that Cannon was no longer a US company. Sad news, since that was a major reason for supporting Cannon bath products. Now, I still gave them four stars regardless, because they are still quite nice towels, thick and fluffy, plus they seem to be quality made and durable, as are the wash cloths, and since I figure my fiber issues may be particular to this color of towel. The selection of colors and quality would get me to buy more, but maybe I'll try the white ones next time, so I don't see any fibers in my white bathroom.

Great Cannon Bath Towels
Excellent quality. I ordered several of the Vanilla colored towels, hand towels, and wash clothes. Absorbant and soft and I love the color. I put them out on a shelf in the bath. The other important key is correct folding to bring it all together.

OK, I guess
You get what you pay for. I bought these towels for my cats to lie on; they are very abrasive which is the texture the cats like. I would not however, recommend them for bath towels, because of the abrasive texture; they just seem not comfortable for drying off. I got white thinking I could bleach them when I needed, but after receiving them, the tag says don't bleach, so that lost another star.

I bought 2 of these in red. I have owned them for about a year now. I washed them before I used them, and they bled heavily on a stray white sock that found its way into the dark wash. Two towels along with a full load of blacks and the lint trap was filled with red lint, for about 7 washes. I used to use them, but I got tired of the lint, so I stopped. For a while they hung on the towel bar not being used, and the red lint was in all the corners of the bathroom. These towels are ridiculously cheap for their size, so for the price, these are a great buy. They are huge, thick and do retain their color. If you're on a tight budget and need towels, these are for you.

Very nice but a ton of lint!
Great price, and nice weight and colors. We purchased a set each of gray and sage green. Washed and dried them twice as suggested in other towel reviews I have read. The dryer lint filter was fuller than I have ever seen it before, even after the second wash and drying cycle, but the towels are nice and big, and we enjoy them. Oh, two of our eight gray ones had a flaw in the material, and it was an easy return and exchange, as there were two more in the store.
