I say go for it!
I was looking for something that would help tone my upper thighs. I purchased this online while it was on sale. This elliptical gives a good arm & leg workout. I'm glad I got the one with the seat cause after exercising in the standing position, my leg muscles get quivery & I can sit & continue pedaling to keep my heart rate up but yet it isn't as demanding on the muscles as the standing position. Then I rotate back to standing. I put it together myself, instructions were simple. My only complaint is it wants to tip from side to side easy while in the standing position. The legs need to be wider. But that's minor after getting used to it & I'd recommend buying it.

Also the stride is very short. And for a person with size 15 shoes they don't fit into the foot holders. Probably a good machine for somebody who isn't over 6' tall.

Good starter machine
This is a great choice for a beginning exerciser. Positives - I tire out quickly and find that the seat comes is very handy; very small footprint fits into my small house well; quiet; heart rate monitor is great; not too difficult to assemble. Negatives - very short stride (and I have short legs). Overall, I would recommend this to a beginner.

I purchased this trainer because I didn't have time to go to the gym and I am very pleased with the cardio trainer. It offers enough resistance and is pretty quiet. I am pleased with my cardio dual trainer.
