Black & Decker  4 Slice Toaster Oven

my wife and i got this toaster over a few days ago and we used it a few times already. we made pizza rolls and a pizza in it worked good heats up fast and easy to clean very happy with it and its easy to use very user frienly

Toasts bagels to perfection, and bakes well, just as it should. I viewed this model in the store before purchasing and found it to be much better built than many others on display in all prices ranges. I am delighted with the purchase.

Haven't used it much yet but, I'm sure it work's just fine. Got it at a STEAL!!!

Having a toaster oven is very convenient for my family beacuse it serves several purposes. Most of all I like that my children can use it for preparing breakfast food in the morning and snacks after school. This particular oven cooks to perfection and is easy to clean.

I've only used it a couple of times for toast. It doesn't brown evenly but better than the last one I had.

Shipped and received in excellent condition. Reasonable price and good size with the needed features.

I loved the style and overall appearance of the unit; however, I didn't care for the fact that the lid does not seal flush with the unit. I kept watching smoke come out despite using the unit and noticed the inside door would fog. I can see through the right side of the lid compared to the left which is flush and seals. The right side does not. When I took it back to exchange, I noticed the display model was the same along with another one that was an open box. I can't believe that B&D didn't put in some type of door that sealed all the way around which was a tight seal notice this during a quality check. After comparing this brand to others on the shelf, I could see that a simple metal/rubber stop would seal the door properly. I wound up paying the difference and getting another model. No wonder there was so many on the shelves when I was at Kmart this evening.

This toaster is by far the Crappiest toaster I have ever bought. It get dangerously hot on top & sides, it ALWAYS burns toast no matter how careful you are with it, and there is a flaw in the timer mechanism that when you turn the toaster OFF you can actually end up turning it ON ALL THE TIME. I thought that B & D product would be good, but this one really needs to be recalled because of the timer issue. I have gone through 3 of them that all do the same thing. I will trash it before getting a replacement. DO NOT BUY THIS TOASTER - it will burn the house down! Having flames coming out of the toaster and completely charring everything is not what I need a toaster to do. Even Magic Chef is better than this one. That is saying something.. Sorry Black and Decker....
