Bionic Ear 2 Plus Personal Sound Amplifier is a device for the normal individuals to hear better, but not a hearing aid for the hearing impaired. The unique feature that equipped with the BionicEar 2Plus version is its USB Mini Type-B audio connector supplement the device’s powerful sound amplification electronics for picking up 45dB audible sound waves in the 4 to 6 kHz frequency region. The device is tested against the ANSI S3.22-2003 standard for the validation of the device’s indication for use of listening to soft and weak sounds in the distance. The entire device weighs only 0.7 oz (without batteries installed) in a compact plastic case of 2.70” x 2.0” x 0.5” comes with an independently continuous adjustable sound volume controller can be freely regulated at the desire of the user; a built-in belt clip to fit on buckle, into pocket or purse; and a pair of hearing buds (left/right micro headset) for the delivery of amplified sounds into the user’s ears; battery operated by two triple-A batteries (sold separately).
