Corner straps needed, or a topper, to absorb friction from the sheet; otherwise this pad bunches in the middle of the bed (with two sleepers).

Like the feel of the quilted pad....down fall the sides do not totally cover the mattress, just the corners. Husband pulled it off the mattress when he sleeps.
