Great for The PriceF
I purchased this item because of recent back pain and sciatica that made sleeping on my very firm mattress uncomfortable.
For the price I was not expecting to get a temprpedic, memorey foam mattress that normally sells for 10 times the price. So, no disappointment there when I opened the box.
After unwrapping the foam, I did notice a slight smell. I would consider it more a plastic smell than chemical as some have referred to it. The foam is wrapped in plastic, so that seemed normal. The smell did dissipate very quickly.
The topper didn't fit my queen sized mattress exactly. It does fall about 2 inches shorter at the bottom. Once the sheets and comforter were put into place, this was not noticible and did not effect the quality of sleep. It might be an issue for a tall person whose feet reach the end of the mattress.
I noticed an immediate difference when laying on the bed after putting the foam topper in place. There was more support for my body contors and pressure points that gave my back some relief and made for a very comfortable sleep.

It will work as a temporary fix to my bad mattress problem. It's a little bulky and lopsided at times. It was kinda difficult to get out of the bag it was packaged in but my husband and I managed together to get it out of the bag.

No matter the position, there is comfort. After buying 4 mattresses and two other toppers, this is the one and only where my aches and pains have disappeared; as have my friend's who bought one on my testimony. I recommend anyone who has lower back, knees, hip or shoulder pain to get this. You will not regret it. It's like sleeping on a firm cloud.
