Get hot water anytime with cutting-edge water heaters

Water heaters and water heater accessories hook up to your plumbing so you have hot water right when you need it. Depending on your energy source and preferences, you can choose from a wide range of heaters that will suit your home perfectly.

Most traditional water heaters operate using a tank that holds water at a constant hot temperature for use at any time. Tank sizes vary and are chosen depending on home size. If you live in a small apartment, you may only need a 10-gallon tank, while larger homes and families may use as much as 40 or 50 gallons in just a short time. Tank-based heaters are always using energy, since the water remains hot at all times.

If you're focused on maintaining an energy-efficient home, you may prefer a tankless water heater. These devices are much more compact, since they only heat water as it runs through the appliance, rather than keeping a reserve of hot water on standby. Tankless heaters use electric coils or gas burners to heat the water quickly, and the mechanism then turns off when the hot water is not in use. Depending on the water quality in your area, you may also want to supplement your water heater with a water softener that can reduce the discomfort that is sometimes caused by hard water.
