Inspired by the 1950 and 60s Hollycraft Christmas Tree Pins the Silver Barber Dime Christmas Tree Brooch offers a historical addition of American pride to the holiday wearer. The gold tone Christmas tree is decorated with clear glass rhinestone garland and multi-colored glass ornaments in the center is a genuine .900 silver Barber Dime. The Barber Dime was minted from 1892 to 1916 and features the profile of lady liberty with a wreath made from an olive branch in her hair symbolizing peace. The words United States of America surround lady libertys head. The silver coin was designed by Charles E. Barber. The brooch measures 2 1/2 by 1 7/8 inches and has a brass pin back closure. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
