AFG 3.1 is great machine for the price, heavy duty, easy to use!
The AFG 3.1 Eliptical is a great product for the price. After shopping around and talking with the sale assoicate I choose this product. The AFG 3.1 is built well with heavy duty tubing and has a easy and fluid movement. There are 3 user settings available with over 20 different workout settings available to use. Setting up a workout is extremly easy to do or you can just hit start and go...
The 3.1 has connection for MP3 players of any type with 2.5mm jack, the sound quality is good.
Assemebly of the unit was moderate, was able to go from box to using the unit in about 2.5 hours using only the tools provided. Will need some help for a couple of the steps during assembly. Directions were good. If your not that handy with tools you may wish to have Sears deliver and set-up the unit for you!
If your looking for an eliptical I highly recommend looking at the AFG products.

Clunky and noisy July 20, 20121
Although I really liked the good workout this machine gave me within a week it started to make a clunky noise on the left side of the flywheel. I didn't like that it had no fan. Liked the style if it wasn't for the noise I would have kept it. Good Machine if you can stand the noise it makes. I had a technician look at it and he said this was a problem customers were having. They had replaced 4 that day he came to replace the one I had. So I decided to go with a Nordic Track.

Excellent, well built
Excellent construction, easy to put together, and a consumers report ********. Some have commented about the few "noises" it makes but those are standard with any machine that is made and I have used. This elliptical is built so well and quiet that you are going to hear some of the ancillary noises. Turn the radio or TV on and they fade away as they do in any gym.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
