We ordered this can when our previous one finally fell apart. Not wanting to spend alot, this looked perfect. It arrived in good condition but was so lightweight, we thought it would crack after the first use. Several weeks later, and lots of tossing around, it is in fine condition. So far we are very happy with this purchase.

I bought these when they were on sale, ended up with 3 of them so I could get ************* after my local store cancelled my order because they did not have them in stock (even though the website said they did and no one offered ************* to compensate me for their error). They're really thin, as others have said, and the cover doesn't go on easily (also previously reported). Had not realized the consequences of them being so thin until we lost the cover one day when it obviously blew away before we got home (my wife looked for it around the neighborhood but could not find it). I was concerned that the container itself would blow away the other day after the trash was picked up. It's too late for me to return them now, and they're better than the really old and broken containers we had before). But I would not buy them again.

Functional, but plastic is fairly thin.

This was the only can on wheels this size that kmart had to offer...so I bought it. It is flimsy and thin but it has held together for about 6 months now! I am surprised, I didn't expect it to last. The wheels have stayed on, and we have to go down a gravel drive to get our can out to be picked up. I would love it if it was made of sturdier plastic and if the lid was attached. We have had to chase it a few times.

One of the few times I've been disappointed by an item ordered on the web. I guess I was looking for a 50 or 55 gallon unit to replace my old ones and I thought this was it. The item is smaller (significantly shorter and less volume, insignificantly for footprint) so you get less storage for about the same space used. If you need a smaller one to fit in a limited space, this could be a problem solver for you but I'm betting I can only get two or three bags into it instead of 4 to 6.

This was a good buy.

...but you do get what you pay for. The trashcan feels light and cheap, and the lid is somewhat of an annoyance to put on and take off - usually requiring two hands. But, at the end of the day, it essentially does what it's supposed to do; hold trash. At the price I got it for on sale, overall I'd say I'm satisfied, just don't expect too much - there are definitely better trashcans out there than this one.

Lightweight and kinda thin material. You get what you pay for. Don't think it will hold up long with the kind of trash collectors we have in my area. The lid fits but not very tight. First big wind blew it off.
East Haven, CT
The top of the trash can has a hole in the center. I'm not certain if there is supposed to be a plug in it, but there is nothing. The hole allows water to get into the can and we had to end up covering it with duct tape. Not worth the money.

bought this on sale, was shipped out fast, one wheel was off when arrived, the wheels are only held on by a cheap tap on tin cap that is not threaded and falls off easily. the plastic is very thin, the wheels make it uneven and unstable, the lid is hard to take off. The quality of this plastic reminds me of what you would see in a milk jug, only a little more thicker. called customer service to complain, and they said just to return it. I'm going to have a lot of fun loading it up in my small size car.
